Fostering an agile leadership as well as learning culture, introducing an agile operating model around self-empowered teams, removing hierarchies with the introduction of coaching as a leader and piloting a P2P reward system are a few examples that will be shared.
Matthias Gebhardt is a systemic, visionary and innovative executive with proven ability to lead transformation programs, to build and transform platforms, to achieve targets and to grow teams. In his current roles, which he has held since 2012, he steers all Asset Management IT activities of the Swiss Re Group worldwide.
He transforms and leads multi-disciplinary programs and runs activities in the Financial Services – Asset Management industry. Matthias conducts organizational and leadership development based on systems theory. He further develops and executes strategies around technological and digital evolution.
Matthias joined Swiss Re in 1999 as Director/Manager Project Management in the Asset Management department. Prior to this, he worked as a Project Manager for Accenture for nearly five years. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the Southern Illinois University.
